Hi all, the weekend is coming up time to go out and chill. Usually, we go out on Saturdays for shopping and dinner, hmm.... one of our favorite eatery is Casino’s Seafood restaurant. It’s a great place for both food and ambiance.
The thing which I notice Is that they serve only fresh fish. They prepare it only when we place an order and combined with the magical hands of Chef makes it amazing. We can order our menu as per our requirements that is we can choose from the variety of preparations like Masala Grill, lemon and garlic, butter garlic or simply salted like that it goes. And they do it right in front of us.
My husband is in the sea food exporting business, And I think he’s an expert in recognizing the freshness of fish. Both of us are foodies and we assure that we eat only fresh food prepared in a clean kitchen.
Today I wanna share the in-house recipe of casino which I tasted and have been eating since long. This is one of my personal favorites. Every time we go there Our Starter will be this one for sure. And I usually indulge in this dish with fresh orange juice. I wonder how they make it extra soft and succulent in flavor.
The taste of that fish Tawa fry still linger in my tongue, and I was eager to prepare at my home. I was trying hard to guess which all will be the fish fry ingredients. Luckily, I succeeded in my first attempt. So if you want to try this finger-licking fish fry recipe Kerala style here we go.
Although we take it as a starter it also goes with chappathi ,bread ,Appam and even dosa. If you want more spice you can add accordingly. So why wait, enjoy the food.
Try out the casino style orange juice which takes us to next level
Sometimes I wish if I was in Italy. Not because I didn’t like my Gods own country, but for the simplicity of cooking. Most of the Italian dishes takes only minutes to prepare. But in Kerala you know for lunch normally we have to spend one or two hours in the kitchen. Sometimes I feel lazy to spend so many hours for breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner.
This spaghetti I tasted from a restaurant in Italy. My son Kris’s godparents are Italian Nicola and Mina. So Our kumbari’s are Italian. This restaurant is owned by Mina’s mother Luciana who is in her 80’s who still cooks in her restaurant. The dish was super delicious as it’s cooked in a traditional way by Luciana. It contained all the flavors added.
Italian dishes are simple yet elegant.
